I also accept HSA cards. I offer a self pay option if I am not in network with your insurance.

I collect insurance information and privacy/HIPAA forms. You can book your session here. Please note that I require a credit card on file at all times.

In this first session, we review your labs and medications  and your nutrition-related health history and your eating habits.  We then develop a personalized plan just for you.

If you plan to work with me for multiple sessions (which I find to be most successful) you get set up with my meal tracking app so you can track what you are eating and how its making you feel. Where appropriate, I set nutritional targets for you based on your goals. We review this during follow-ups and address any new and ongoing concerns you have. We reflect on your goals and progress.

My Nutrition Approach

Plant Forward Nutrition

There is no longer a "renal diet." Plant-based diets are now encouraged for people with CKD. Everyone with CKD should have and deserves to have an individualized diet plan based on their lab values, medications and other concerns. My approach to nutrition is plant forward. This approach to plant based nutrition emphasizes plant-based foods like vegetables and fruits, plant-based proteins, whole grains, nuts and seeds, herbs and spices and plant oils without necessarily eliminating animal products completely. Plant-forward is a great approach for families with varied eating styles.
